Chore charts: the free starter setup

With three boys, whose turn it is comes up a lot. This prompt makes a fair weekly rotation you can print.

The Friday chore-chart prompt

Every Friday at 5 pm, make next week's chore chart.
- Kids: [names or "Kid 1, Kid 2, Kid 3"] ages [ages]. Rotate the chores so nobody gets the same hard one two weeks in a row.
- Chores: [dishes, trash and recycling, feed the dog, tidy living room, laundry helper, wipe bathroom sink].
- Give me a printable table: rows are kids, columns are Mon-Sun, one or two chores each per day, age-appropriate.
- Add one line at the bottom: this week's small reward idea that costs nothing.

Print it and put it on the fridge. If you want it every Friday without asking, make it a scheduled task: here’s how on each assistant.

Want the daily chore lists on a tablet the kids can tap? Here’s the free family hub I built with Google Apps Script.

I’m working on “Chore charts kids actually follow,” with what worked and what didn’t in our house. I won’t publish it until we’ve actually lived with it for a few weeks.

I haven’t run this exact setup with my family for a full week yet. When I do, this box will say what happened, good or bad.
